Tournament News 2014 A “sold out’ tournament with 164 ladies attending,and many wearing shiny baubles, sparkling clothes and tiaras. Sister Lucinda outshon everyone in her awesome Klondike Kate outfit!! (Above with tournament Director – Rashelle Babij.) Golfers arrived early to decorate their carts in pretty shining displays. The weather man cooperated and the sun shone all day long. Golfers were greeted with a 1st tee gift of a beautiful silver or rose gold pendant sponsored by Independent Jewellers, and a delicious full breakfast buffet sponsored by Edmonton Motors. Sponsors and volunteers greeted the golfers at each hole, handing out treats, offering prize draws or scrumptious food and drinks to all.z
 A big Thank You to Trevor Boller from BMP Photos for bringing his photo booth out and taking wonderful pictures of the ladies in their Bling. Our favorite team photographer, Jack Dagley and his fellow Sun employee, Gary Poignant took wonderful team pictures which were presented to each of the golfers at dinner. Hole supervisors Myron Babij, Lorne Stefan, James Storey and Jim Reid provided full day service -delivering supplies to the holes and ensuring that each of the volunteers were looked after with food, drink and hole relief for the duration of the tournament. The afternoon entertainment was hosted by MC and Honourary Chair, Sharon Mallon -CFCW morning show and Kris Burkholder. With over 190 items waiting in the silent auction including a $5000 renovation package from Jesse Nagel, $750 dinner & entertainment for six from Apex Casino – CHER tickets from the Edmonton Sun, and many more exciting items, a vigorous round of bidding was enjoyed by all.
